Favorite Quote

I chose some quote from "Black Beauty".

"Black Beauty was clever than we were, and saved us all from drowing!"(page 24)

His first master said. They tried to across the bridge but Black Beauty stopped because he felt something wrong. It was right. The bridge was broken by streem. He saved his master.


"You look happy and comfortable with life as a cab horse, and I'm glad, but it's different for me"(page 59)

Ginger said. She is Black Beauty's old friend. They had been apart since they were sold, but they met again in London. Ginger became weak because her owner forces her to work hard. I feel sad to read this part.


"It must be Black Beauty! Beauty! Do you know me? I'm little Joe Green, who almost killed you!" (page 72)

Little Joe Green said. When Black Beauty was young, Joe took care of him. But once, Beauty nearly died because Joe made him sick. Maybe he was really sorry for him and it is lucky for him to meet Beauty and apoligize. It is the happiest scene of this story. After that Black Beauty lived with him happilly/
